I stumbled across Herbin 1670 ink in a calligraphy store. One of the bottles had opened by accident and the brown ink had spilled and stained the white box that contained it. Messy, as it was, I instantly fell in love with the rich chroma of the ink. It was as if the ink had escaped the bottle and was demanding to be heard. These inks are very special. I know what I shall be asking for this Christmas!
