Sunday Inkings #23

Fountain Pens & Inks

Sometimes, we change our minds about our opinion on some fountain pens. Read how A Fool With A Pen has recently had a different opinion of the Lamy 2000 from the initial experience.

Alt Haven has been on a roll reviewing inks lately. Here is her latest two ink reviews, one of the Montblanc Permanent Grey, and the other of the Sailor Jentle Tokiwa Matsu. She has also been on a stationery spree during her visit to Italy recently. The pictures of the pen shops are awesome!

Cronicas Estilograficas has published a very interesting post on Japanese sumi ink that is suitable for fountain pen use. Interestingly, there is a Kobe scented ink that uses the smell of sumi instead of the usual floral fragrances that may be used in other scented inks.

Edjelley wrote about the top fountain pens suitable for beginners, which cost below $25. I do quite agree with his choices!

The Unroyal Warrant has reviewed the Waterman Carene, with a nib so delicious-looking that I am extremely tempted to get one for myself!

I’ve stumbled upon this article by Jet Pens on the various types of papers and notebooks out there. Great article for expanding our knowledge of notebooks!

I would love to hear your thoughts!
