Sunday Inkings #20 and What’s New

I’m back from my trip with some stuff to update you, readers! There are a couple of little changes that have occurred on this site and I thought I should highlight them to you.

Firstly, I’m on my own again as my previous two fellow writers, Thomas and Prem, are unable to continue writing frequently here due to personal reasons. They will probably continue to contribute posts once in a while, though, via the form of guest posts, but not as regular writers. As for me, it is a little harder with the recently change in my job role in my full time job, which means more night conference calls, more brain cells being used up in the day (with less to spare at night for blogging), and more travelling on business trips lately. It is the transition period now, while I hand over duties of my previous job to the new person and start taking up new responsibilities in my new job role, which is why I needed to travel more lately. I hope that the frequency of travelling goes down in time to come. Heck, I’ve even stopped my singing lessons which I’ve been enjoying immensely, just because I need more time for myself! Don’t worry, though – I still love my blog and all of you readers and will continue writing as much as my time allows!

Today, I have also done a little tweak of my subscription box and my social media links. I opted for a cleaner look for the social media links. If you haven’t subscribed to me yet, don’t hesitate to do so right now!

Now for the inkings from the last fortnight –

A Fool With A Pen has done a nice review of the TWSBI Diamond 580 RB.

Peninkcillin shows us the very beautiful Private Reserve Daphne Blue ink. It looks particularly pretty sloshing around in the Kaweco eyedropper pen! I also want to make a special mention that, even though this post was from the previous fortnight, the Noodler’s Mandalay Maroon is such an awesome colour, I just want to buy it immediately!

Cronicas Estilograficas writes about an old advertisement of a Sailor pen, the Sailor 1963. Oh, how I would love to have that pen! I love pocket pens, if you didn’t already know.

Edjelley showcases his new Field Notes “Two Rivers” which look so beautiful. If you’re interested in getting a bunch of these special Field Notes, they are available at Blank And Write. Just drop them an email!

It’s spring in the Northern Hemisphere, and in spring you may want to look out for a couple of new pens and inks. Goulet Pens has come up with a list of their top 5 pens and inks for you to choose from.

Inktronics has done up a nice review of the Conklin Duragraph pen.

I hope you are well-occupied by these links. Feel free to submit below an interesting article that you have come across on the fountain pen blogosphere, and I’ll include it in my next Sunday Inkings.

Thanks for the update. Glad you’re able to continue the blog in spite of the changes. Hope you can get back to your singing lessons soon to have that balance in your life.

I would love to hear your thoughts!
