Sunday Inkings #19

It is with much sadness that I share the news of a great loss for Singapore: Mr. Lee Kuan Yew, the first and greatest Prime Minister that Singapore has ever had since independence, has passed away on March 23, 2015, at the age of 91. He had been the one who led Singapore through independence in 1965, and played a very vital role in shaping our nation into the wonderful Singapore we have today. Read Channel News Asia for details.

I have been overseas on a business trip this past week, hence the lack of posts and also missing the chance to pay respects at the Parliament House back in Singapore. I also did not manage to attend the SFPL Pen Meet, but you can read about the meet on Inky Passion.

Gourmet Pens has done a review of the very pretty Pilot Vanishing Point Valley Green fountain pen. I still like the red and black wooden ones that I reviewed lately, though!

Here is a review by Parka Blogs of the Pilot Custom 823 fountain pen, a pen that I had been wondering whether to get for myself or not.

Write Analog is a website I have come across for the first time. Here is an article about the Pelikan M205, which the writer says is his first “real” fountain pen.

Alt Haven has done a review of the Diamine China Blue ink. I also have this ink and it is a blue that I love, too!

Here is a bunch of ink swabs by Inkophile featuring red inks.

Don’t forget, you can also submit links to my Sunday Inkings here:
