So what have I been up to over the weekend?
Besides checking out Arab Street which I regrettably haven’t been to in all my 24 years in Singapore, I was thinking about some improvements to be made to my blog, and also starting a way to track my own writing, calligraphy and designing explorations.
For my blog, a new page is coming out, which will contain some (hopefully) useful information about all things related to stationery. You will see what it is about probably in a couple of days. It’s going to be called A to Z, so you can probably guess what it’s going to be about. For the release it will still be in an incomplete draft form, and I will keep updating it to make it as complete as possible, as soon as possible!
And for the tracking of my scribbling and doodling, I have set up a tumblr blog! You can follow me on tumblr on this url: http://writetypedraw.tumblr.com/ or click on the tumblr icon at the top of this page. My tumblr page will be a photo-heavy record of my pen-to-paper endeavours, as opposed to this blog, which is more focused on words than pictures. The tumblr blog will also sometimes feature interesting typography info that I find on the web, since I like to see how letters look like.
And to top it all off, I have also created a Facebook group right here: http://www.facebook.com/groups/stationerybloggersworldwide/ where all bloggers who blog about and support the use of physical, tangible stationery can congregate, get to know one another, and SHARE all the great things about stationery! Are you such a blogger? Join my Facebook group! If you are not able to join the group, you can add me on Facebook and request to be added into the group.
Well, I hope you will enjoy my new additions. It also means I’m gonna be super busy shuttling to and fro between all the social media stuff, but busy means happy, and I’m doing stuff in favour of things I love, so it’s a motivation for me. Oh and by the way, if you haven’t voted on the poll on my right hand sidebar, do vote! Only a few days left!
Any feedback, anyone?
